| App Description: | The application Communicator + is developed for a wide range of users for the purpose of easier, faster and more efficient exchange of messages. It allows stacking of phrases and sentences using the existing symbols from the three non-commercial galleries (ARASAAC, Mulberry and Sclera), upgrading with their own symbols or photographs.The phrase can be reproduced by the stored audio track symbols or by recording and playing back new sound for the certain symbol or photo. By using their own photos and audio system, this system of alternative and augmentative communication can be adjusted to the individual and contextual needs of the user. In that manner, depending on the difficulty and age of the user, development of language and literacy can be supported. The application also allows the creation of phrases and sentences for certain functional situation, and can be used as a tool for creating complex messages in other situations. |
